Italian-Polish Aerospace Forum

The Italian-Polish Aerospace Forum — organized by the Embassy of Italy in Warsaw, the Italian Trade Agency Warsaw Office, the Italian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Poland (CCIIP), and with the strategic partnership of Leonardo, and supported by the relevant Italian and Polish institutions for defense, innovation, industry and research—has established itself as one of the landmark events in Poland’s aerospace calendar.

It promotes industrial, institutional and technological cooperation between Rome and Warsaw in one of the most innovative and dynamic strategic sectors.

In a context of growing geopolitical tensions and rapid innovation, cross-border collaboration in aerospace is essential to strengthen Europe’s collective security. This panel brings together military and industry leaders to discuss how Polish-Italian partnerships can enhance technological development, interoperability, and strategic resilience in the aerospace and defence sectors.

This session explores the evolving role of space as a dual-use domain, serving both civilian and defense purposes. On the civilian side, space technologies support climate observation, environmental monitoring, and global communications. On the defense front, they enable critical capabilities such as satellite-based surveillance, secure communications, and strategic intelligence gathering. The discussion will emphasize the importance of space infrastructure in ensuring Europe’s technological autonomy.

      The war in Ukraine has highlighted the strategic role of these technologies in modern warfare, while also exposing critical vulnerabilities in digital infrastructure.

      At the same time, AI and autonomous systems are revolutionizing civil domains such as infrastructure monitoring, emergency response, transport, and public safety.

      Industry leaders and military experts will discuss how to harness the potential of dual-use technologies while ensuring resilience and cybersecurity in an era of fast-evolving threats.

        • The number of sessions (3 or 4) will be decided by the organizer depending on the number of participants.
        • Table agendas will be provided by the organizer on the day of the event.
        • This phase will conclude after the final table session.
